Lead Singer of Future Soul Band Brother Zulu.

Born and bred in London Max Tuohy's musical journey began at a young age, instead of going to college or university Max signed his first record deal with Sony RCA at the tender age of 16 and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in the music industry.
Due to mental health struggles, Max left Sony at the age of 21 and took a backseat from the spotlight and focused more on his craft. Max then would gig under different names and play hundreds of pub/weddings/functions with his three best friends ( Lawrence Ajadi, Noah Nelson and Alex Hillman ) This was start of Max falling back in love with music.

Tuohy's breakthrough came with the formation of Brother Zulu (aged 25 ), a dynamic future soul band that quickly garnered attention for their electrifying performances and genre-defying sound. As the lead vocalist of Brother Zulu, Tuohy's soulful voice became the driving force behind the band's success, captivating audiences with its raw emotion and undeniable funk

Brother Zulu has given Max the confidence to finish what he started. From his earliest years, Tuohy found solace and inspiration in the rich tapestry of soul music, drawing influence from iconic artists such as Marvin Gaye, James Brown and John Legend. Which can all be heard in his latest releases.
