Max Tyler is an Athens, GA based singer/songwriter. Born and raised in Atlanta, he was exposed to just about every musical influence possible, from Steely Dan to John Mayer to the Allman Brothers. After teaching himself piano, guitar, and drums, Max moved to Athens for school (Go Dawgs) where he began writing and performing non-stop. He honed his performance and writing skills doing open mics and playing with friends around town. Tyler's music is an authentic blend of country and folk that speaks to every facet of his life. His debut single, "It's True," tells of a difficult conversation between a flawed man and a pure-hearted woman. Recorded with friends, for friends, “It’s True” is a pure labor of love. Enjoy!
