Mazel is a new Alternative Grunge Rock band from Orangeville, Ontario. The band consists of three members; Sophie Käthe (Guitar, Vocals), Kaia Gladue (Bass) and Kieran Stanutz (Drums). All of whom still attend High School.
Mazel was formed just over one year ago, after meeting at their high school's Coffee House Music Club. They soon started to record their original songs in drummer Kieran Stanutz's basement studio. They have proven to be a force to be reckoned with within the local rock scene since performing in a variety of different concerts from School competitions, to punk-rock fundraisers.
The band continues to record original songs with huge drum sounds, electrifying vocals, and loud rock guitars. Mazel is currently doing the final mixes for their upcoming debut “Façade”, tentatively scheduled for a February 2025 release
