His career began as a member of the popular boy band Yamoto Band, which dominated the East African music scene from 2012 until its breakup in 2017. The group consisted of Aslay, Enock Bella, Beka Flavour, and Mbosso himself. After the band disbanded, each of the four artists went on to pursue solo music careers.
He was later signed under WCB Wasafi and made his solo debut with the hit single Watakubali. Since then, Mbosso has achieved significant popularity and musical success in Tanzania and beyond. His music has resonated across Africa, particularly in countries like Kenya, Mayotte, Rwanda, and Burundi, as well as in parts of the Middle East, including Oman and Qatar.
Now operating as an independent artist, Mbosso leads his own company, Khan Music, where he manages both his artistic vision and entrepreneurial pursuits. Through this platform, he continues to shape and influence the music landscape with authenticity, creativity, and innovation.
