Mbwana Yusuph Kilungi, popularly known for his stage name as Mbosso alias Mbosso Khan born on 3rd October 1995 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, renowned for his soulful voice and emotive storytelling.
His career began as a member of the popular boy band Yamoto Band, which dominated the East African music scene from 2012 until its breakup in 2017. The group consisted of Aslay, Enock Bella, Beka Flavour, and Mbosso himself. After the band disbanded, each of the four artists went on to pursue solo music careers.
He was later signed under WCB Wasafi and made his solo debut with the hit single Watakubali. Since then, Mbosso has achieved significant popularity and musical success in Tanzania and beyond. His music has resonated across Africa, particularly in countries like Kenya, Mayotte, Rwanda, and Burundi, as well as in parts of the Middle East, including Oman and Qatar.
