This is MC Earth. We're on a mission to protect the planet, keep it fresh for the kids, and give everything opportunity to grow.
Born in Castro Valley, CA and raised in Rockville, MD, we started freestyling at 16. After college, we found ourselves in a corporate job for four years, making money but longing for something meaningful. Fueled by a need to explore, we saved paychecks to embark on a backpacking trip through Southeast Asia. We had our minds blown on a daily basis (and still do).
Returning home in 2020 with more money than we anticipated (SE Asia was good to us), we said No Thanks to the 9-to-5 and instead filled up our compact hybrid car with what we needed. We drove to almost every corner of the USA in 2021, sleeping in the front seat & freestyling on 35+ street corners across the USA (Hip-hop + Travel = Rap the Map).
It was during this experience that we fell deeply in love with Mother Nature, sparking a newfound dedication to protecting the Her.
MC Earth was born September 2021.
When we returned home to Maryland, we poured ourselves into creating a hip-hop album for all ages and backgrounds. This is a Gift EP.
With InsaneBeatz and lyrics that speak to the soul and mind, we are a call to action, helping everyone come together to protect our environment for the next generations to come.
P.S. We give 10+% of our art income to nonprofits that help protect Mother Nature. Hopefully 50-99% in the future.
