Mc Raa is a rapper from Sri Lanka, he started his music journey in 2012, & Mc Ra's first musical album “Athiyayam” was released in 2014 on Colombo Tamil Sangam, after the album he started a new journey in 2015 with Krishan Maheson the pioneer of Sri Lankan Tamil Hi-hop, also in 2016 Mc Ra & Krishan Maheson collaborated with nine Sri Lankan Tamil independent artists under the “Ilangai Tamilan” it was the first SriLankan TAMIL Rap cipher.
After the huge impact of the Ilangai Tamilzhan music video, in 2018 Kingsouth Krishan with Mc Raa & The crew performed in the “TEDx Colombo” International Talents show.
Raa was a Creative Director, Video Editor, journalist a well-known rapper, and worked with many media companies in Sri Lanka.
After the COVID pandemic in 2020, Mc Raa collaborated with Krishan, Yawanan, & Premjr for a music collaboration called Echcharikai ( The World's biggest Tamil rap cipher) & “Echcharikai’s” special was around the island, over 25 new talented rappers was recognized & collaborated in this particular Echcharikai track.
Also, In 2021, Sri Lanka faced a massive economic crisis, way of thought As a Journalists, Raa Assumed before the people protested & January released a Visual Track called “Ennada Nadakuthu Nattula” an estimation of the Sri Lankan people's real situation of economic crises, & it was the first Music track for Aragalaya.
