Curtiss Jackson started rapping as a young child and his musical career hit the scene when he joined The music group Masterminds along with Richard“Maserati Rick” Jr. While attending Detroits Mumford High school. Together they were a powerhouse that crushed competition after Hip hop cypher.

Mcbyrdy X has been booked for speaking engagements at Mumford High school with other schools included. Contributed to the Anthony Taylor Foundation since it was established in 2004.
