MCN2

We all need an escape from the world sometimes, right? Well, that's exactly how MCN2 began...

I am lucky to say that making music has been my job for the last four years. I have written and produced songs for many different artists, and my artist project Able Faces has been building momentum recently too. It's been a brilliant ride so far. Like a lot of artists, I enjoy making music in a variety of styles.

I began writing these songs that made me feel like I was sitting at a beach bar, drinking a cold beer, without a care in the world. As I said, we all need an escape sometimes, right? There was no agenda beyond having a good time in the studio with whoever I was writing with that day. Before long, I realised that I had a collection of songs that didn't suit the sound of Able Faces, but I also felt too attached to them to give them away to other artists. They felt like they belonged to a world of their own, and it was a world that I wanted to spend a lot more time in. And so, MCN2 was born.
