meadowzz is a classically trained pianist who discovered a real love and appreciation for lo-fi production several years ago. They are born and based in Chicago, IL and often escape the cold winter months by hunkering down in the studio to create soundscapes to help others sleep, relax or focus. Their love for electronic music was sparked after seeing Aphex Twin perform live and subsequently diving in the worlds of Boards of Canada, Autechre and other seminal producers. meadowzz hopes to follow in the footsteps of their inspirations as they continue to grow and evolve as an artist.
