Every parent knows the struggle—mealtime standoffs, untouched plates, and a child who refuses to eat anything that isn’t pizza or sticky rice. My daughter, Kaelyn, was that child. No pleading, no bribing worked.
So I turned to what I know best—stories. As a teacher and performer, I’ve always used storytelling to engage kids. I started weaving narratives about mischievous vegetables, heroic crusts, and monsters scared of spinach. Those stories became songs.
‘Music to Make Your Kids Eat Meals By’ was born from real mealtime battles and transformed into a playful, genre-spanning album that makes food fun. Each track is a world of its own—big band swing, disco, K-pop influences—all crafted to capture attention and turn dinner into an adventure.
What started as a way to help my daughter eat has grown into something bigger: music that makes kids laugh, dance, and maybe — just maybe — take another bite!
