Meds are an alternative rock band formed by Giacomo Lionello, Silvio Compagnin, Ivano Chinello, Michele Brivio and Kevin Fior. Hailing from the small town of Piove di Sacco, geographically between the likes of Venice and Padua, the five-piece published their first single in May 2019, “Lipstick Stamp”. Influences are 90s alternative rock bands such as The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys but also Red Hot Chili Peppers and Muse, resulting in a powerful raw sound with no shortage of melodic hooks.
