Mega Modd, an NYC native, is carving his own lane in alternative music & culture on his own terms blending Hip-Hop, R&B & Rock through a unique psychedelic introspective view. This uncommon artist is known to be a singer, rapper, song-writer, lyricist, musician, sound engineer & director who started growing his following through busking on NYC subways and is now writing, crafting & engineering his own musical works to create a range of modified genres. Fall of 2018 he put out his first official single titled “Melanie’ Al” along with a music video which would soon became one of his most well known works. Soon after he would release “Busta!”, performing this song at some of NYCs biggest parties, becoming a staple in his popular high energy performances. He showcases his wide vocal range in his project “Reboot” and in singles like “Lazaretto” & “Rain Rain” — he gives you cocky, calm, coy & cunning all in one soul throughout his ever growing discography with no intention of slowing down. Projects like “Winter Baby Vol. 1” give you an idea of his more classic hip-hop and R&B styles, and EPs like “C.R.A.K.K.” give you an idea of his twist on more popular styles while “Blackpoint”, being his first exclusively in-house project, is more experimental, exploring some of his inner conflicts with self image, personal relationships & accountability.
