Mega Perk rose to recognition after becoming the champion of THE NEXT HYPE AUDITION 2023. He started writing music back in 2016 after being inspired by YOUNGOHM. Personally, Mega Perk likes to listen to music, once he started writing, it was more of a hobby for him as he never tried or wanted to record his music. Not until a year later, he decided to take it to the next step and eventually released his mixtapes on YouTube and 2 official releases on streaming platforms. The one that got his recognition is a song called “CASH ONLY”, but his peak point was during THE NEXT HYPE AUDITION 2023.
Mega Perk music is often inspired by Trap, Atlanta and Slime, where most of his lyrics are what he had experienced in real life. Therefore, he wants to represent this side of him to showcase to his fans that he will always be at his true self through his lyrics.
