Megane Mercury

The Equatoguinean-blooded Spanish artist Megane Mercury is a DJ, vocalist, producer, visual artist, event promoter and storyteller that has been shaking Spain’s underground scene for a while.

They has played at Festivals and venues like El Row, Mad Cool Festival, Mallorca Live Festival, Razzmatazz, The Basement or Siroco among others. In other facets of their artistry they has been present in PHotoESPAÑA and the Venice and the Dakar Biennales; and the Lisbon Architecture Triennale .

They is known for being one of a kind of an artist with a limitless imagination that has helped them to create their own unique subversive universe. With an eclectic style their contribution to Spain’s underground scene has made them a remarkable figure in the country, being related and/or having worked with collectives like Don’t Hit a la Negrx and Jokkoo Collective that invited them to do a guest mix for Rinse France and also to participate in a course of event promoting in collaboration with Ballantine’s True Music.

As a vocalist they is very versatile and have covered a variety of genres: from pop-rock to mixing urban genres with electronic music as in their most recent mixtape Diabla & Llorona Mixtape However their most streamed work as a vocalist can be found in collaboration with techno and house producers. They have worked with artists like Catz 'n Dogz , Franklin S or Rumbler, and have been remixed by big artists like Solomun, Truncate and Riva Starr.
