Meganisi

Meganisi is a producer, songwriter and singer based in Bucharest where she studied percussion and piano in childhood to drop it years later due to an unfortunate context in high school.
She pursued a career in media, working as a unit production manager for commercials and later on as a post-production coordinator for movies and TV series only to discover it wasn’t working out for her, as she was still so far away from her first and main passion. However, this experience formed her into the hard-working and ambitious woman that she is now.
Her love for music flourished this year as she started DJ-ing, expanding her musical horizon and knowledge of various genres. This naturally led to a desire to produce her own music, as it wasn't enough for Meganisi to just play other people's tracks.

Today, Meganisi has crafted a unique and fresh blend of lo-fi, jazz & reggaeton - an auditory experience that is distinct and moves you from within. Her music is all about contrast; while the instrumentals make you want to dance, the lyrics often tell a melancholic story. Meganisi continues to explore herself experimenting and playing with elements of jungle, hip-hop, and flamenco. Her music isn't just heard, it's felt.
