Dresden (GER) based producer Meks Sample started making music in 2009. Raised with Jazz, Funk, Soul, Prog-Rock & Psychadelic Rock
he started digging vinyl to rock the samples he found on the records. Learning to appreciate the joy of analog gear he got an MPC1000
and started beat making. Combining analog gear with DAW (Ableton) power brought him to the next producer-level which enabled him to
get recognized in the German Hip-Hop Beat scene through remix contests & beat battles.
In 2017 he teamed up with his longtime friend Tony (El_Tronic) to form a duo producing Drum & Bass music named "Meks Sample & El_Tronic".
Both are DJ-ing and 100% music lovers that decided to bring their own taste to Drum & Bass music.
After promoting their own music on Soundcloud they successfully released on like Storno Beatz Recordings, Beatalistics Rec., C and Recordings.
Their last strike was a 2-track single release on Russian Drum & Bass Label Live History Records.
Debuting with their single "Recreation" (C Recordings) was a huge success followed by fast recognition of the German Drum & Bass scene.
Their track "I Can't Hold Back" (Beatalstics Rec.) was internationally supported by Ledge Sounds and played back on Drum & Bass Radio shows/podcasts all over the country (Rewind with Stunnah, dumandbass.de Podcast, ...)
