Mel Kay

Mel Kay is an Australian artist now based in Hawaii. She is passionate about writing music that helps people feel heard & that makes them feel less alone. She was trained at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts as a singer & has since worked as a musician/writer for the past 10 years. She has had airplay nationally in Australia thanks to Aussie Grown Across The Nation for her original work as well as 94.5fm, 98.5fm, & live performances on foxtel in Western Australia. She was voted top 6/1400 for her song PHOENIX at the Western Australian Music Awards 2019 & top 12/6000 for her collaboration on YOU with U.K. producer BACKFALL. She writes in a variety of genres but currently is leaning towards pop/folk with a focus on music that heals and moves the soul. Her recent single HEAVEN was her first release in the USA & the single launch sold out last September at The Slack Key Lounge in Honolulu. She has since successfully released another single (CLASS) & will be recording her next E.P. ~Of Angels & Architects ~This year... Followed by album - After The War -
