After a short experience as singer of the portuguese pop band MIUDA (2011 - 2013), MEL disappeared from the music scene, only to return in 2019 with her own homonymous project.
She strums the guitar in a rhythmic manner, creating simple yet hipnotic melodies. Through her words she portrays sceneries of her hometown, as well as of her inner world and experiences.
