Melaleuca make guitar-driven power-pop hits for losers with good taste. Their reputation as small-time rock dogs has seen them score supports with the likes of Middle Kids, Alex Lahey, The Buoys and WAAX. In 2022, Melaleuca showcased at BIGSOUND festival, finished their debut EP, and were voted ‘Best Band To Listen To While Gazing Fondly At Brisbane’s Story Bridge’ by a small panel of biased and unqualified judges.
They’ve brought their infectious strain of dual-vocal power-pop to venues across the country, played festivals including BIGSOUND, Super Fun Day and Hidden Lanes, headlined Mountain Goat Valley Crawl and supported the likes of Middle Kids, Alex Lahey, Bugs, Hope D, Teenage Joans, The Buoys and WAAX. Off-stage, Melaleuca love to eat ramen and pick on each other.
