Melancholy Flower

Hey there! I&#39;m Melancholy Flower (aka Melon Cauliflower). My music is strongly influenced by my chronic medical condition. I&#39;m pretty limited in terms of physical exertion, but writing music is something I can comfortably do without aggravating my condition. My first album, <a href="spotify:album:7195NQKhCpRWQwEdWcVuQ9" data-name="Flight(less)">Flight(less)</a>, aims to capture themes of ability/disability, flight/flightlessness, and Melon Cauliflower/Melancholy Flower.

My second album, <a href="spotify:album:6MdeNwPwXGMahxZXZ3EN54" data-name="Nothing Crazy Has Ever Happened to Me">Nothing Crazy Has Ever Happened to Me</a>, uses a different vocal sample for each song. The samples come from many different places, including: a home video of me when I was 5, a public domain movie from 1954, an interview with train passengers, and more. This album reminds us that crazy, wonderful things are happening all around us, if only we remember to look.
