Melba

Melba is an Artist and producer from Kent, who shows no limits in the type of music he can create. His musical influence and style is embedded in RnB and Soul culture, where he takes inspiration from a variety of artists from different ages. Melba also expresses his love for music via other sounds such as Afrobeats, House and Hip-Hop.

Melba was born in Lewisham, South London, where he lived up until the age of 8, moving to Medway, Kent. He has been part of the church from a young age, being part of his school and church choir during his early years. His family have proven to be very influential in not only his music taste, but also in pursuing his lifelong music dream.

Melba’s music tends to explore depths of love, whether it is with a romantic relationship or within himself. His music has the ability to capture all emotions that can be associated with the journey of love, using a variety of sounds to paint a vivid picture for his audience. His sensitivity and personal life experience is where he draws his inspiration for his music, reflecting in his captivating lyrics.

In 2018, Melba began to produce his own music, and is now a self-acclaimed producer and mixing engineer. Despite only being a producer for a short period of time, his skills have already been called into action, when he produced a track on the highly rated UK YouTube series “Drillin”. Melba is currently working on a short project, with the aim of releasing it by the end of the year.
