Finalist in the "International Songwriting Competition" beating over 20,000 people, and awarded "Best Female Dance & World Artist" at the Indie Music Channel Awards , Meli Malavasi is a Costa Rican Singer- Songwriter based in L.A.
Her passion for writing great songs have let her to be part of The BMI/Warner- Chappell Songwriting Camp at the Gibson Showroom & getting some major song placements in TV shows like " Bad Girls Club" and "American Pickers".
She has performed in places like: The Hotel Cafe, Room 5, The Whisky a Go Go, The Viper Room, House of Blues, Kulaks Woodshed, Los Globos, Levitt Pavilion Pasadena and Make Music Pasadena Festival.
Her lastest Spanish EP "Girasol" was produced by Musical Director and Keyboardist of the 20x Latin-Grammy Award Winning Band "Juanes".
