MELIKI HURD

Meliki is a versatile artist from Brooklyn who uses storytelling at the core of all his work, whether he is in front of the camera or behind it. As a music artist, he draws on his acting background to infuse real-life stories into his lyrics. If Childish Gambino and Quinta Brunson had a kid it would be Meliki.

Meliki is a rising senior at Sarah Lawrence College and an alum of the Professional Performing Arts High School. Meliki had his first Broadway debut for Matilda the Musical and the first National Tour at 12 years old. His recent personal projects include his sophomore album "More Alive Than Ever" and the YouTube web series "Dipshits" that he wrote, starred in, and directed. Some of the various TV and film credits include "The Last O.G.", "The Equalizer", "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", and many award-winning shorts and indie films. In addition to this, Meliki was selected as a semi-finalist for the 2023 Paris International Short Festival and earned an honorable mention from the One-Reeler Short Film Competition 2023 for his short film music video "Outta My Mind."

He released his first full-length project, <a href="spotify:album:1gFBUgrPVfrROKQgxC3Zbv" data-name="GOLDEN BOY">GOLDEN BOY</a> at the age of 19, in December of 2022. It&#39;s truly an impressive introduction into the mind of Meliki Hurd, to say the least. He followed up with his 2nd full length project <a href="spotify:album:0IFM8Lipuo3mrxDcOACfWR" data-name="MORE ALIVE THAN EVER">MORE ALIVE THAN EVER</a> on his 21st birthday, the 9th of May in 2024. He hasn&#39;t let up since.
