Melina

MELINA is a multilingual (English, German, some French & Italian) singer-songwriter, entertainer, voice over artist/actress residing in New York City. Born to a Canadian mother + German/Norwegian father in Toronto/Canada, raised in Germany + moved to the NYC with her family at the age of 15 1/2. She joined the high school band, chorus + Swing band. Went on to study music/voice, performing & visual arts + minored in communications/business at both Berklee College of Music + the University of Connecticut (UCONN).

She writes and performs her original compositions with her own soul pop band or with her OKTOBERFEST Polka band during the fall.
A TRUE PERFORMER, her 'home' is on stage, no matter what role she takes on.

OKTOBERFEST:
'MELINA & the Oompahs' 'specialize' in authentic German Oktoberfest Entertainment and perform fluent in both German & English. With Accordion, Tuba, Drums, Trumpet, Singer on hand, they put on a high energy SHOW with music from traditional German Oompah, Waltzes, Polkas, drinking songs, to more modern tunes. They will take you on a musical ride based on the Original Oktoberfest in Munich, where MELINA has performed. For smaller setting/event Melina also performs as a 'One woman/One man' DUO or TRIO.
