I’m in Nashville now doing a new thing called <a href="spotify:artist:2QndT88vgllncHDVR4T342" data-name="Wild May">Wild May</a>, but I’m going to leave this bio here:
“I'm a Brooklyn based singer songwriter. I started singing on stages with my family band when I was about nine. At that time, I was aiming to be some combination of Christina Aguilera and Alanis Morissette. (Might still be?) I was hoping to play the VMAs by my sixteenth birthday, but instead we performed at very very small churches and nursing homes. It was great though. Over the years, my parents taught me how to sing harmony and play guitar.
By the time my late teens hit, my dreams of being a singer songwriter sort of went dormant and I started studying engineering at Penn State after high school. A lot of life changes happened that first (and only) year of college. Next thing I knew, I dropped out and went full speed towards making music full time.
I moved to New York City, played sold out shows, played to rooms of two people, started a band, worked 4 jobs at once, released singles, appeared on The Tonight Show, survived the New York City restaurant industry, grew my following, fell in and out of love, learned some hard lessons and made some good stories. Praying through it all that somehow God gets the glory.
Which is the goal of my life. And my music.”
