Melis creates a musical world that is influenced by the 90's r&b/pop-scene with Mariah, Destiny’s Child and Whitney, mixed with todays 2024 artists like Yebba, Cleo and SZA. Melis writes and co-produce all of her songs, and her unique vocals combined with her solid melodies are something that you simply can’t ignore while listening to it or watching it live.
The spring of 2024 she released her second studio album, written and produced over the past two years, mostly in Oslo in Urban Sound Studios, in the forest of Laagen, at her past day job, Tonsenhagen Torg, and with Stargate at Steallar House in LA.
The album is called «Someone to come home to» and basically it’s about wanting to find yourself a partner so bad that you start to see visions. Loneliness, acceptance, realizations, love, and hope are keywords for this album.
She headlined at Parkteatret Oslo 25/4 followed up by a mini tour and festivals in Norway.
