Melissa Corbett

A girl from the Midwest trying to find her place in the world. I grew up on a farm in Missouri and learned about life and love working with my Dad and sharing his passion for animals and living life to its fullest. We walked many miles in cahoots during his life on this earth. I followed my Dad into the rodeo circuit and became a barrel racer and breakaway roper. I just never felt 100% satisfied. I always wanted to sing and play an instrument. I learned to sing from the ladies at church joining into their beautiful harmonies. I met my husband, had two amazing kids and now have two incredible grandkids. Still struggling to find my place in this world, at 50 years old my husband pushed me to pick up a guitar and share my voice with the world. With the push and support of family and friends old and new, it suddenly all made sense. Exactly where I should be and doing what God intended, I finally feel complete. My love of music and my husbands beautiful lyrics have become a passion. Love of myself and belief that this is what I was intended to do, allows me to share that love of music and life with the world. Music has given me a new lease on life.
