Melissa Errico is a Broadway star, recording artist, actress & author. At her Carnegie Hall debut in 2022, she was called "a unique force in the musical life of New York City- there's no one quite like her!" Tony Award-nominated for Best Actress in Michel Legrand's Amour as well as star of Broadway’s My Fair Lady, High Society, White Christmas, Les Misérables, Dracula and Anna Karenina, she has become equally known for her music and concert work worldwide. Her signature blend of witty talk with sublime singing led Opera News to dub her "The Maria Callas of the American musical theater.” Sondheim and Legrand have been her great subjects—her 2019 album Sondheim Sublime was called “the finest all-Sondheim album ever recorded” by the Wall Street Journal. In 2024 she released Sondheim in the City, culminating in her acclaimed solo London concert hall debut at Cadogan Hall in July 2025. The last 2 years alone, she opened for George Benson, conceived and premiered The Story of a Rose: A Musical Reverie on The Great War; played Zelda Fitzgerald opposite Alec Baldwin, created the role of Eleanor of Aquitaine in a new David Shire musical at The Met’s Cloisters, starred in Dear Liar off-Broadway & tours with her jazz trio. She also writes a New York Times column, “Scenes From An Acting Life.” From Paris’s Bal Blomet to London to Las Vegas; from the Grand Rex and Montreal Jazz Festival to Carnegie Hall, she brings her inimitable mind, spirit, voice, & soul to a growing global audience.
