meltgsnow [melting snow] was formed in the shadows of Yishun, Singapore in 1999, now rising from Bangkok’s underground with a sound that’s dark, emotional, and defiantly heavy.
Blending thrashing riffs with haunting melodies, meltgsnow dives deep into the human psyche—confronting fear, loss, and inner demons head-on. For us, music is therapy. It's rebellion. It's release.
Our debut album Insanity (2003) marked the beginning, earning us a U.S. tour with goth-metal act Second Skin and building cult followings in Australia, Thailand, and Singapore. Black Penance (2010) followed, with the single “Empty Sky” bringing us to major stages, including Australia’s Sonic Forge Festival.
After a few lineup changes, the original 2000 crew reunited in Bangkok—with Lord Vidz joining full-time—and in 2023, we made history as the first non-Thai metal band signed to VOM Records. 2024 saw the release of “The Serpent” and “The Martyr,” produced by Shane Edwards—both praised for their intensity and honesty.
In 2025, Not.E joined on drums, injecting new fire into our sound. With a refreshed lineup and a loyal legion behind us, we’re back in the studio—and ready to bring more truth to the chaos.
