MELUSHKA QUANDUS
Is a passionate singer/songwriter, dancer and performer from the island of Aruba. Her Latin-American and Afro-Caribbean roots influence her sound and her music. Melushka likes to create music from the soul with touching lyrics that address nature, humanity and social topics. Before taking the leap to the soloist life she was the lead voice for several bands and a soprano for choirs in Aruba and the Netherlands. In 2020 Melushka was awarded a prize by UNOCA Aruba which allowed her to record her first EP called “Melodia, bida conta cu zonido” (Melodia, life told with sound). Currently she dedicates her time to write and create music in her home based studio.
