Mend Again is what happens when two musically obsessed Vermonters—whose lives were intertwined long before they knew it—finally team up to make heartfelt, harmony-laced magic.
Christy started singing before she could even pronounce words and never stopped. Raised by musician parents, she grew up steeped in song and stage, performing in nearly 50 musical theatre productions, from Helen Keller to Mary Poppins (yes, she flew). Christy’s voice, melodic sense and dreamy key work are at the heart of Mend Again’s sound.
Brendon took the scenic route in his musical journey— in punk bands like Blind Luck Music, where he toured the country with none other than Christy’s stepbrother as a teen. He cut his teeth performing everywhere from DIY venues to the Vans Warped Tour. Later on, B started releasing albums under his long-time solo project, Foreverinmotion, and went on to co-found the acclaimed folk trio The End of America (TEOA). For Mend Again, he’s a Swiss Army knife — bringing a multi-instrumentalist’s touch and a producer’s ear, shaping much of the band’s sonic identity.
In 2018, fate finally kicked in as B & Christy reconnected, fell in love, and started writing songs that reflect their story.
Mend Again is more than a band—it’s a shared language, a place to process life, and a joyful expression of love through music.
