Mendy is a music project from Sweden featuring lead singer Amanda Örtenhag and producers/musicians Mikael Olsson and Mikael Gunnerås. The trio released their first single "Not Gonna Be Around" in april 2019, soon followed by the second single "Come Back To Me", which went on to win the award for best song of 2019 in the Local Heroes award ceremony pertaining to Mendy's home region in Sweden, Gävleborgs län. The Local Heroes gala was held at the concert house in hometown Gävle on 22nd february 2020, where Mendy also won the award for band of the year. The third release from Mendy is the highly emotional and dramatic song "Say Goodbye" which was released on the 10th of april 2020.
