MENEO, es un musicólogo, performer y productor guatemalteco residente en Madrid. Acuñó el término "electropical" y forma parte de una ola de productores globales que mezclan sonidos electrónicos con ritmos tradicionales de Latinoamérica, tal como la cumbia, el merengue y el dembow. Su primer disco de estudio "Santa Nalga" fue masterizado en Mad Decent, sello del famoso Diplo, entrando así en un circuito de festivales de más de 20 países.
Actualmente conduce en Radio3 el podcast semanal LATINATOR, el archivo sonoro más extenso de sellos iberoamericanos en activo.

Rigo Pex aka MENEO, is a Guatemalan musicologist, performer and producer based in Madrid. He coined the term "electropical" and is part of a wave of global producers that mix electronic sounds with traditional Latin American rhythms, such as cumbia, merengue and dembow. His first studio album "Santa Nalga" was mastered at Mad Decent, the label of world famous producer Diplo, thus entering a global festival circuit.
He currently hosts the weekly LATINATOR podcast on Radio3, the most extensive sound archive of active Latin American labels.
