MENNIS has been a fixture in the South Manchester music scene for over 15 years since emerging in Youth Clubs and on Pirate Radio. Known for his lyricism, complex rhyming schemes and authentic, introspective content, MENNIS has always been well respected as one of the very best emcees to come out of the Manchester scene.

Following a brief hiatus, MENNIS reaffirmed his position as one of Manchester’s best throughout 2018 and 2019, following up features with various artists with solo releases <a href="spotify:album:2KQvwZxWTiLbgm1l12ChtC" data-name="Hoods Hottest">Hoods Hottest</a>, <a href="spotify:album:1BdlmDBesHIb15MOJQFF9k" data-name="Red Dot">Red Dot</a> and <a href="spotify:track:6OpMqGq0SaL7UKJ6DHg7WT" data-name="Nokia">Nokia</a> on P110, GRM Daily, and Link Up TV.

2019 culminated with the releases of <a href="spotify:track:39T0Ftycd6rxHXgW3FiNlT" data-name="Low Low">Low Low</a> and <a href="spotify:track:3NXJtKH9WkXp9kih5f32OM" data-name="Sunshine">Sunshine</a> featuring Tyler Daley of <a href="spotify:artist:2UZjIISzcezFJLo0ngik2Z" data-name="Children of Zeus">Children of Zeus</a>, from the forthcoming EP &#34;Low Lif£&#34;.

Recorded and released independently, <a href="spotify:album:3EnuX0RQuBZhBho3HLHPNO" data-name="Low Lif£">Low Lif£</a> is an ode to South Manchester and was released on new years day in 2020. Including production credits from Dyno, JSD of <a href="spotify:artist:0NV5eY4Jzg4ldg2ikGnV4n" data-name="Virus Syndicate">Virus Syndicate</a> and MENNIS himself and has guest vocal features from <a href="spotify:artist:4LA8Md9s5vNRscOFOe7wzq" data-name="DYNO">DYNO</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7BWjWVat8puiUriWads4kk" data-name="[ K S R ]">[ K S R ]</a> as well as the lead single with Tyler Daley.
