Meo

You can hear in his voice that he means every word he sings. There is this passion, this depth, which the 23-year-old from Zurich attributes to his roots, among other things. Meo moves between worlds both linguistically and culturally: His mother is German, his father, who came to Switzerland from Istanbul as a street musician, passed on to him a burning love of music. His uncle, a well-known artist in Turkey, taught him his first chords. There is no earliest memory of music, it was simply always in his life.

"Still Sorry", his first single is an apology to a failed love, a powerful admission. „It's important to understand that it's okay. That you have to work on it and you can work on it." Meo speaks from the heart of an entire generation: it's about not having to be perfect and being allowed to be open about your weaknesses. "I felt the need to speak out about my experiences and write down for myself what I did wrong - to reflect." So he packs the emotional world of young adults into captivating pop songs carried by his multi-faceted voice.
