Mercelina merges together different genres into powerful pop-tunes.
Combining his songwriting skills with his ability to produce one of a kind sounds.
After his songwriting and production work for many artists in all kind of genres, he dedicated a year of writing and producing for his own album, and is now ready to move forward. Mercelina sings most of the vocals himself, but has a few featurings on his debut album.
In 2013, Mercelina graduated as a songwriter at the Rotterdam conservatory.
Within a year he signed a publishing deal with the label AT Productions and BMG-Talpa followed soon after.
But before that Mercelina was not unknown in the music industry. He released his first single with a major label at the age of five. And in his teens he played with his band on the biggest Dutch stage’s and festivals.
He also reached the finals of the RTL television show ‘De Hit’, where he took the stage, working with the biggest Dutch artists.
Mercelina kept perfecting his sound and doing preparations for this moment. Now his album and all other preparations are done, and Mercelina is ready to take over the charts!
