Mercury Trip is a three-piece, female-fronted band blending jazz, rock, and indie to create a sound that’s both melancholic and energetic. We’ve been performing together since 2022, with early shows alongside artists like Plum Jr, returnofthespouse, and Nookee. In 2023 and 2024, we played Worcester Music Festival, and in August 2024 performed at Hereford Indie Food Festival, sharing the bill with Lottery Winners, Newton Faulkner, and Gabrielle. We’re grateful for the support from the local music community. Mairead has also had guest slots at Nozstock and performed across London from 2024 onwards. As a solo artist, she’s shared line-ups with many folk acts including Chris Brain, Dolly Mavies, and Milkweed. We’re currently recording new material and developing our live set for upcoming shows across the West Midlands and beyond. New single 'Sunshine' releases 10th July 2025 on all major streaming platforms.
