The 90’s born artist gathers his inspiration from the hip hop greats such as Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Tupac, Fabolous & Nipsey Hussle. Along with R&B greats such as Lauryn Hill & Michael Jackson.
Since writing raps and taking piano lessons in elementary years, the Camden New Jersey Native has always been musically inclined. At the age of 12 his Father purchased him his first set of recording equipment as a gift. Hoping to enstill that he always maintain control of his music. As the sole engineer of his own music, Mercy has worked for over a decade to constantly elevate his sound. In high school the experimental rapper dropped his first solo mixtape, “NoMercy” and took to the streets to distribute the music hand-in-hand. Using his prowess as an engineer coupled with an extroverted personality and relentless grind, he was able to take tutelage under some of the local powerhouses in music throughout the years.
