When the nuclear reactor exploded in 1986, the downfall over Norway made sure that the bassist, vocalist and writer, Viggo Vengeance, brought some toxic devestation into Stavanger’s crossover thrash duo Metzger. Since 2003, him and the drummer, guitarist and producer, Paenkwald Paenkmaister, have been making sure that punk-metal-horror-drunks get a steady supply of low-fi crossover thrash with all the nostalgic themes from the golden age of the genre.
