Hailing from the rural areas of Denmark, Esben Valløe and Tim Panduro are notorious for
breathing their machines to life with a gloomy spirit and M€RCY’s well acclaimed live
shows have brought them to play at reputed venues across the globe.
M€RCY’s new “Chromium” EP is a deep and uplifting melodic techno release
that will be unleashed to the dance floors by Istanbul’s Duenia Records. The
EP invites the listener to board an energetic flight through pulsating soundscapes of melodic
percussion and harmonies unfolding on a dark backdrop of hissing steam and rattling
machinery.
The “Chromium/Fluttering” EP features two fresh originals as well as three hard
hitting remixes from the Duenia darlings Findike, JD Orange and Mauro Basso.
“Chromium” concludes a trilogy of M€RCY EPs together with
“Trembling/Magma” and “Black/Rain” out on Pursuit and Souvenir. The releases have
received remixes from artists like Mathame and Luigi Tozzi as well as support on the
dancefloors around the world from Patrice Bäumel to Tale of Us.
