Raised in Huntsville, Alabama, producer Brett Edmiston was 16 when he first started writing his story through a melodic journey. After a couple releases he decided to go by the alias of Meyta which means purpose. As one who has always struggled with the meaning of life he first started making music as an escape, but it wasn't until he had a moment that he was paralyzed with demons screaming inside of him that he decided to rethink what he's doing with his life. That horrifying encounter was soon followed by a night where he had a realization that he really does have a purpose in this world…
