Mătăsaru George Leonard aka M.G.L. has quickly set himself as one of the most distinctive voices on Romania’s urban soundscape.
His musical journey began in 2017, yet the real breakthrough came in 2020 with "NO SH*T SHERLOCK" and a eye popping feat with NOSFE on "Galați". As versatile as genuine, M.G.L. dropped in the same year HURACAN, his first drill take.
Some are counting likes, some are counting streams to measure success. M.G.L. is counting smash hits, forged into his own signature sound. 2021 brought "CINE TE CREZI", the single that established M.G.L. as a constant presence in the urban charts.
