Mgły (Mists) , formed in 2014 in Warsaw, released their first album “Samotna podróż do Arkadii” in 2020. The album, which oscillated on the border of styles, between dream pop, indie rock, and broadly understood alternative rock, contained a handful of melancholy inseparably associated with the band, a slightly psychedelic atmosphere, a lot of space and ambiguity.
Members of the group come from different styles, but they share their fascination with sounds full of secrets as well as ambigous lyrics, often expressing longing for something unknown.
„Samotna Podróż do Arkadii” featured many singles, such as: Czekam na lato, Bałtyk, Rzeka, Cisza nocna, Nie mam czasu and Smutna Piosenka, which went viral on Tik Tok.
Over the years, the band has performed at many festivals, including Fest Festival, Wschód Kultury, Białystok New Pop Festival, Naturalnie Mazur Festival and in 2022 had the pleasure of supporting the British group Alt – J in their show in Warsaw.
In 2025, the band plans to release a second album which, in addition to the band's inherent melancholy, will be inspired by the sound of sea organs.
The members of the group are: Ewa Wyszyńska, Ada Wyszyńska, Piotr Grudziński, Wojciech Seńko, Bartosz Mielczarek, and Rafał Olewnicki - on the border of fronts, on the edge of sounds.
