MHMMD, (pronounced as Mohammed), is a DJ, producer, and songwriter hailing from Midrand, South Africa. Raised in a family that appreciates various genres of music from classical music, Jazz and RnB/Soul to Hip-hop, House Music and Alternative, MHMMD grew to absorb those genres into his arsenal of music making skills I.e chopping samples and remixing acapellas to come up with his signature "Bounce" style as well as composing sultry chords and melodies that produce a rich and nostalgic Alternative RnB/Hip-Hop Sound only he could make.

MHMMD also made a name for himself as an upcoming music producer and DJ in the industry in 2023 by competing in two Reality competition shows namely Remy Producers Season 2 which premiered on MTV BASE as well as the Lucky Star CoLab on Mzanzi Magic hosted by Kim Jayde. These opportunities have been a stepping stone for MHMMD to show South Africa and the world what he is capable of.
