Mia Lateefa

Born in 2002, Mia Lateefa started dancing when she was 4 years old. She was enrolled into a ballet academy with Dance Steps Studio and traditional Malay dance with Dida Mallik. Since then, she went on to perform at many events presenting her school as well as Girl Guides Malaysia. Mia has been a talent for below and above the line advertisements for various clients since she was a toddler. To mention a few, she was a feature in Horlicks , Milo & Astro TV commercials and more.

In the past 3 years, Mia has established herself as a hip hop, modern and contemporary dancer amongst her peers. In 2011, she participated in Disney Asia Channel’s competition called “My School Rocks”. In 2017, whilst she was attending vocal classes at Suara Academy, Mia was spotted by Mark Adam and Adeep Nahar for her talent.

In 2020, Mia released” Hujung Dunia”, a song about unconditional love, professing how one would go anywhere and do anything to be with the person they love. No matter what hardships may come, one’s love will not waver. To always be by one’s side. For Mia, this is a song about her mother and vice versa. The bond they have is very strong and nothing can come in between them. The dedication and commitment will last until their last breaths.
