Singer/songwriter Mia Moisa left behind a ‘normal’ life to persue her dream of becoming a Stage Performer. A strong independent girl who always struggled with ‘being accepted’ in modern society. She left home at 18 to live in Belgium, where she expected to succeed on her studies as the average teenager. After many tries she quitted her old lifestyle to become what she always wanted. A singer, model and actress. It’s been now three years since she started her path and despite all the struggles she won’t give up.
Born in Chisinau, Moldova, Mia moved to Portugal at her 4 years old with her family to escape the poverty felt on URSS in the 2000’s . At her 8 years old she joined the first group of theatre. At the same period she’s performing in Folk shows as a singer. Her childhood is contrasted with trophees and drama.
In 2016 she moves to Brussels, Belgium, where she discovered her inclinations to Jazz and Soul during Jam sessions in bars ( coup de ❤️ pour La Tricoterie)
Mia couldn’t focus on her studies and the idea of being put on a box. In 2019 she abandons University to focus on healing herself through Art.
Her actual audio-visual project depicts social problems and it's mental consequences.
