Daughter of Frank de Freitas (bass player with <a href="spotify:artist:6An62UauVVUH7OCxt5bnZu" data-name="The Woodentops">The Woodentops</a> and niece of Pete de Freitas (drummer with <a href="spotify:artist:0fgYKF9Avljex0L9Wt5b8Z" data-name="Echo & the Bunnymen">Echo & the Bunnymen</a>) and Rose and Rachel (of <a href="spotify:artist:4ZEGRyMkyr7rwmZJiCmbtD" data-name="The Heart Throbs">The Heart Throbs</a>) Mia comes from a pretty musical family. She started singing and writing songs on a guitar from a young age. Stuck at home during the Covid lockdown, she set out to record some songs and start out as a songwriter.
