Michael B Thomas, is the solo recording project of Leeds based singer-songwriter and musician Thomas Barr. His colourful lyricism and pristine lo-fi folk arrangements are born from Thomas’s time as lead songwriter and vocalist in Party Hardly. Delving into the realm of existentialism and the way modern society identifies life and love; there’s a certain melancholy of innocence within Thomas' music, portrayed through self reflectivity, but also through experiences told by the people around and close to him.
