Michael Beatty

Michael Beatty is a singer-songwriter-producer based in New York City. His wide range of influences include pop, indie rock, folk, electronica, and jazz. In 2021, <a href="spotify:album:10YCGR5snMlBIfVbjK078B" data-name="It Means Beautiful">It Means Beautiful</a> was produced by Devin Greenwood and composed by <a href="spotify:artist:299e5bbawhQ06wme8IP90Z" data-name="Dan Gillespie Sells">Dan Gillespie Sells</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:4AksvCnkZaQoTu1nJr62Db" data-name="The Feeling">The Feeling</a>) for the hit West End musical and Amazon Studios film &#34;Everybody&#39;s Talking About Jamie.&#34;

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of City Scrapes, Michael released the 4 song EP <a href="spotify:album:4n6jW5PZxGa51zbUIYAVXF" data-name="42nd St. Hymn">42nd St. Hymn</a>. In 2023 <a href="spotify:album:2ZugpknrcZ06d0Xc5UxF8y" data-name="Follow The Light">Follow The Light</a> was produced by Devin Greenwood and features a music video directed by Roy De La Maza and produced by Tim LeGallo.

Born in St. Louis, MO, Michael made his pro singing debut at the age of twelve. Attended Emerson College, Boston Conservatory, and holds an MA in Performance Studies from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He has performed with rock bands and symphony orchestras, in coffee houses and concert halls, appeared Off-Broadway and toured Europe.
