Florian Egli (aka Michael Benedikt) is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer with a strong foundation in jazz and an openness to a wide range of musical influences. As a saxophonist and bassist, he performs internationally with diverse ensembles - from experimental jazz groups to indie-pop bands and genre-blending collaborations. As a bandleader, Egli continually brings new and distinctive projects to life, including several award-winning formations such as @Weird Beard.
